Introducing a new programme we’ve recently launched at SmartSafe Training that’s been designed specifically for primary schools — the SmartSafe Heroes Workshop.

This is a 2–3 hour interactive session for Year 6 pupils, focused on giving them the confidence and basic skills to respond in an emergency.

• What to do in an emergency situation
• How to call for help (999 – what to say and when)
• Basic first aid principles
• Staying calm and helping others safely

The session is hands-on, engaging and age-appropriate, using scenario-based learning to build confidence and real-life awareness.

• Supports PSHE and life skills development
• Helps pupils transition towards greater independence
• Reinforces safeguarding awareness
• Delivered in a fun, memorable and practical format

We deliver the session on-site and can work around your school timetable. It fits particularly well as a Year 6 enrichment activity or end-of-year programme.

This session is for a maximum of 30 pupils. We do ask that a teacher is present during the workshop to assist the trainer with any issues that may arise.

This workshop is from £200 per session.

Every Child will receive a certificate of attendance on completion of the workshop.

We are able to complete a morning and an afternoon session if you have more that 1 class.
